Gary Allen Owens, "Goon" was born to the late Willie Bee Cole and Robert L. Owens on May 19, 1953 in Bakersfield, California. Gary is also preceded in death by Beloved older Sister Reolar Cole-Owens Grijalva. He attended school in Wasco, and later lived in San Jose and Los Angeles before returning to Wasco in the late 70's, where he resided until his Sunset on June 9, 2021. Gary is survived by his Son, Chad Owens and Grand daughter Jayla Owens both of Las Vegas. He is also survived by Six Sisters, Francine of Wasco, Ca., Hazel of Alpharetta, Ga., Khandi of Fresno, Ca., Laura of Hawthorne, Ca. Rachel of San Pedro, Ca., Monique of Los Angeles, Ca., and Six Brothers, Calvin and Eddie of Wasco, Ca., Raymond of Rancho Cucamonga, Ca, Michael and Robert of Fresno, Ca. and Johnny of Delano, Ca. Also a Special Cousin, Robert Jerry McGhee, who has always been more like a Brother to us. Sibling Love I feel confident is speaking for all of my Brothers and Sisters that we were truly Blessed to have Gary as our Big Brother. We shared so many special times and memories full of laughs, soul and love...I thank God for blessing us with a love for one another that was on constant display and flowed with such ease. We already miss you dearly Big Bro and we pray for you to rest easy in God's arms... Always Love...
