Obituary

Freddie Lee Gott was born on February 19, 1925 as Freddie Lee Randall in Spadra, Arkansas to Thomas Timpie Randall. She passed to be with her Lord on Mary 21, 2016. She was the youngest of six children. Three brothers Cecil, Woodrow, and James Randall, two sisters, Elsie and Eunice. Freddie was preceded in death by all her siblings and two sons, Randy Floyd in 1999, Thomas Floyd 2002. Freddie's mother passed away when she was just a few months old. Her grandmother Mary Robinson raised her until she passed away. Freddie married Andrew Floyd in 1945. They had three sons, Randy Floyd, Thomas Floyd, James Floyd, one daughter Sandra Mungle. Andrew her husband preceded Freddie in death in 1972. This union did not last and Freddie raised her four children as a single mother with God's help. Freddie remarried again to Robert Gott and he also preceded her in death. Freddie did not have an easy life growing up and struggled with many health issues later in life. Freddie lived in Arkansas, Oregon moving back to California in the 60s. Her hobbies included reading, listening to Christian Music. She liked the old time gospel music, gardening, loved going to Church, cooking and making yummy desserts for her family. One of her best was her homemade yeast rolls also her chocolate oatmeal cookies. She enjoyed barbequing and spending time with her family and friends. Family was very important to Freddie. The Lord Jesus was first in her heart next to her family. She loved her church family also. In 1985 when Freddie was 60 years old she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. She was a faithful member of the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Wasco until her health would not permit her to attend. She went thru two open heart surgeries 7 years apart. She was a prayer warrior with a true heart of Gold. Freddie was a big time Animal lover especially dogs. She had a tender heart towards them. She loved every one, a quiet woman of few words. Freddie's occupation was in nursing care. A heart for the sick. Freddie's surviving family members are; James Floyd her son, daughter Sandra Mungle. God blessed Freddie with 12 grandchildren, James, Randy, Jacqueline, Richie, Kevin, Brian, Glenda, Darrin, Tracey, Krystal, Daniel, and Joshua. She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, Ron, Tiffany, Brittany, Christopher, Tabitha, Kaydence, Khloe, Natalee, Joseph, Ashley, Andrew, and Anthony; one great-great-granddaughter, Ayla. Freddie had great difficulty and hardship in this life, but great blessing from the Lord. He gave her faith and strength to go on to her blessed Eternal Home. She will be greatly missed and dearly loved forever in our hearts. Everyone say they have the best Mama and Grandma in the world. She truly was.
