Freda McNatt was born in Lubbock, Texas on December 17, 1923. She was the eldest of 13 children. Freda spent most of her youth working to provide for her family. Freda lived through many hardships in her life, but never let those difficult times discourage her. She was a strong-willed and selfless person who made sure her family was taken care of. Freda loved with all her heart and would make each of her 6 children feel special. Her favorite child was the child who needed her the most. Aside from being a wonderful mother, Freda was the best cook and looked forward to preparing Thanksgiving dinner for her entire family every year. Some of the best memories were of Freda sharing stories of her travels searching for work. Freda entered eternal rest on November 26, 2018 with her unforgettable smile she loved sharing with the world. Freda is survived by her children; Patricia Joyner and husband Butch Joyner; Rose Sanders and husband Dixie Sanders, Kenny McNatt and wife Kathy McNatt, Ernie McNatt and wife Ginny McNatt, Phillip McNatt; brothers, Herman Turney and Joe Turney; sister, Lois; 17 grandchildren, many great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great- great- great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Mike McNatt.
