Frank G. Galvan was born January 30, 1945 in Brawley, California to Augustine and Lucy (Garcia) Galvan. His family moved to Fresno and he graduated from Washington High School, Easton and went on to attend Fresno State. Frank had been a resident of Arvin for the last 30 years, working for John Kovacevich and Dole Packing as an independent truck driver for 20 years and was self-employed for the last 10 years working all over the central valley. Frank loved going to Rosarita Beach and spending time with his family. Frank is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dorothy Galvan; daughter, Vanessa Marie Galvan; father, Augustine Galvan of Fresno; brothers, Steve, Arthur, and Aggie; sister, Hope DeSantiago; an many other loving family members. Frank was preceded in death by his mother. A memorial service was held at New Life Church of God on Sunday, November 16 for Frank Garcia Galvan, age 63, of Arvin who passed away November 11, 2008 in Corcoran.
