Obituary

Francisco Rodriguez Jr was born into this world on April 16th, 1956 to Francisco Rodriguez Sr and Estefana Rodriguez. He was born in Lubbock, Texas and lived there for some years. His Father would take the family to California to work at a young age. This would be the foundation to the hard worker he would become in life. They would eventually move to Shafter where he would continue to help and work with his family to build a better life together. The family would only get bigger. His family would consist of 3 brothers, Mario, Johnny and Jesse, along with 3 sisters, Alice, Olga and Rosemary. His father would continue to push them to work and help support the family. Entering high school, his life would change as he would meet the love of his life and would start a life full of adventures together. Maria Llanas would captivate his attention with her beauty, radiant smile that would light up the world as well as her feistiness and laugh. Their conversations would captivate his heart and his persistence would make him irresistible. They would marry on April 16, 1977 at Saint Therese's Church in Shafter, CA. They enjoyed their honeymoon at a place that would later become a historic destination to our family, Disneyland.

His first born, Francisco Rodriguez III, who would carry his name and legacy, was born December 6, 1980, His second born, Albert Rodriguez, which would be the craziest, would be born September 8, 1984. His third born, Roberto Rodriguez, would be most like him, would be born February 10, 1986. In 1991, God threw him a curveball and blessed him with twin boys, Martin and Victor Rodriguez. These two brought him a new view in life. The foundation his parents laid down gave him the tool to incorporate his 33 years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication to Halliburton. He worked multiple departments and worked in different states. He finished his career as an accomplished welder and a respected man. Although he was busy with work, he found the time to coach football for his sons and for the community of Shafter. He shared his passion of the sport and his values that they would apply to their own lives. Frank was a devote Catholic and God would consistently put him through trials. In January 2021, his wife and love of his life would pass away. He would find peace, comfort and meaning with his grandchildren. His purpose in life would be there for his family and dedicate himself to his grandchildren until his last days.

Frank will be remembered forever by all his loving family and friends; his 5 sons Frankie, Albert, Robert, Martin and Victor who will miss and love him unconditionally. His 2 brothers Mario and Jesse, 2 sister, Alice and Rosemary, his loving daughter in laws and his 16 grandchildren that he adored and loved unconditionally. He will finally be reunited with his loving wife Maria, his dad Francisco, mom Estefana, brother Johnny, sister Olga, family and friends in Heaven where he is resting and watching over all of us until we reunite again.
