Francisca was born to Felix and Antonia (Marquez) Banuelos on March 10, 1919 in Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico. Francisca worked for over 40 years as a farm laborer. She was a very hard worker and a very devoted mother and grandmother to her family. Francisca is survived by her son, Carlos Torrez and wife Socorro; daughter, Orfelinda Perez and husband Horacio; sister, Maria Cordero; grandchildren; Carlos Torrez, Guillermo Torrez, Horacio Perez, Gabriel Perez, David Perez, Reymundo Reyes, Alfredo Reyes, Rosa Morales, Francisca Orozco, Elida Salazar, Celia Arrellano; 27 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; niece, Conception Banuelos; and great niece, Elda Salcedo. She is preceded in death by her sons; Manuel and Alfredo Reyes and a grandson, Alex Torrez. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was said on Sunday February 3, 2008 at 6pm at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary Lamont. Mass of a Christian Burial was held at St. Augustine's Catholic Church on February 4, 2008 at 10am. Interment followed at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin, California.
