Francisca (Odelia) Aleman passed away on January 19, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. Francisca Aleman was born Oct 04, 1926 to Francisco Martinez and Ruth Guerra in Goliad, TX. Francisca was a member of La Rosa de Saron Church in Shafter, Ca. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Trino Aleman Jr. and daughter, Santos Brionez. Francisca is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Castro of Corpus Christi, TX, and brother, Eliazar Martinez , of Beeville, Tx. Francisca is also survived by her nine children; Lupe Spray-Gallup NM, Alicia Aleman- Shafter, Ca. Leonarda and Dan Trotter- Beeville, Tx. Reynaldo and Diana Aleman- Beeville, TX. Irene and Abie Baca- W. Covina, Ca. Henry and Louisa Aleman- Shafter, Ca., Lillie and Sammy Gonzales- Shafter, Ca. Mary Ann and Paul Ellis- Duarte, Ca. and Michael Aleman- Buena Park, Ca. She is also survived by 26 grand children, 23 great grand children and several nieces and nephews. Visitation viewing will be Thursday January 21, 2010 from 2-5pm at Peter's Funeral Home followed by services at the Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church at 400 Kern St. Shafter, Ca. at 6 pm (reception to follow). Graveside service and burial for Francisca will be at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, Ca. on Tuesday, January 26th, 2010 at 2 pm. Pallbearers will be: Ricky Baca, MalachI Gonzales, Elisha Gonzales, Caleb Gonzales, Jacob Aleman, Isaac Aleman, and Honorary Pallbearers, Joe Ray Aleman, Hosea Ellis, Orlando Aleman, and Dale Trotter.
