Felix Oropeza was born November 20, 1931 to Herlinda Cruz and Isidro Oropeza in Mexico City, Mexico. Felix married Maria C. Gonzalez in 1984 and four years later moved to Wasco. He was employed with various farmers, was very active and enjoyed what he did for a living. He loved life and always had a lot of enthusiasm in everything he did, he was ambitious, if he couldn't do it, he'd find someone who could and tried to learn how to do it for the next time. He was an honest man, was well liked and trusted everyone he met. He was a devoted Catholic and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Maria, of 24 years. Felix was proceeded in death by his parents Herlinda Cruz and Isidro Oropeza, He is survived by 1 brothers and 6 sisters all of Mexico. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 for Felix Oropeza, age 76, of Wasco, who passed away August 24, 2008 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated, Father John Fluetach of St. Johns Catholic Church officiated the interment, which was held at Wasco Memorial Park, Thursday August 28, 2008. A Visitation was held at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday August 27, 2008.
