Felipe Soto was born in Bakersfield, California to Alfred and Carmen Soto. He attended Wasco High School and Bakersfield College. He worked over 30 years for Jack in the Box and Wendys. Felipe enjoyed listening to music his favorite group were the Beetles, his favorite food was Mexican food and pizza and favorite dessert ice cream. He loved watching NFL football and the thing he loved the most was being around his brothers and sisters and the rest of the family. He always had a nickname for everybody in his family. Felipe was a great and honest man and he will be greatly missed. Felipe Soto is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Carmen Soto, brothers and sisters, Michael, Alfred and Elizabeth; nieces and nephews, Sara Soto Hernandez, Veronica Teresa Shirley, Rogelio Miranda Jr., Patrick Joseph Shirley Jr., Christopher Chavez and Michael Shirley. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Alfred, Albert, Anthony, Betty Moore, Teresa Cox, Olivia Soto, Lydia Adams, Tencia Regalado, Loretta Patterson and Maria Cazares. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 6pm at St. John's Catholic Church for Felipe Soto, age 52, of Wasco, who passed away on August 4, 2013 in Wasco. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate. Inurnment will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:30am at Wasco Memorial Park.
