Felipe Banda Banda was born on August 20, 1956 San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Felipe Banda and Alicia Banda. Felipe moved to California when he was 17 years old. Shortly after moving to California, He became a truck driver for the agriculture industry. He loved being a truck driver and working long hours. Along with being a hard worker; he was also a great dancer. Felipe enjoyed dancing every opportunity he was given. Sometimes he would take a hold of a family members' hand and twirl them all around the dance floor. Being the giving person he was, he always took pleasure in helping someone in need. Felipe had a loving and giving heart. He lived life to the fullest and was constantly happy. When it came to his health; he put up a good fight and endured many obstacles. Felipe passed away on January 31, 2015 in Bakersfield, California, surrounded by his loving family. Felipe was 58 years old. Felipe is survived by his mother; Alicia Banda; daughter; Ingrid Banda; brother; Roberto Banda; sister; Maria Francisca Tovar; nieces; Alicia Banda, Olga Elizabeth Tovar, Brenda N. Tovar, Alicia Tovar, Eluteria Lopez; nephews; Roberto Banda Jr., Moises Banda, and Jose Miguel Tovar. He is preceded in death by his father; Felipe Banda Castillo. A visitation was held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6-10pm at Peters Funeral home in Wasco, California. A recitation of the Holy Rosary was at 6:30pm. A burial followed in Mexico.
