Faye's Faithful Legacy

Faye Anne Fulwyler, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and faith. Born on December 10, 1933, she grew up alongside her brother, Lloyd, and later moved to Bakersfield during her high school years.

Faye pursued higher education at Oregon State University, where fate brought her together with Joe Fulwyler, a talented football player, avid fisherman and all-around great guy. Their connection flourished, and they exchanged vows in 1956.

Together, Faye and Joe embarked on a journey filled with love and adventures. They settled in Wasco, where they joined the family farm and raised their four children, completing the circle of love that would define Faye's life. In addition, Faye cultivated a remarkable network of friendships and immersed herself in community activities and service for over six decades.

Faye's faith played a central role in her life. She joined a bible study group, where she found solace and devoted herself to the Lord. Her unwavering commitment to serving God impacted countless lives, as she shared the transformational power of her faith with everyone she encountered. Faye's generosity, warm spirit, and listening heart endeared her to all who knew her. She will forever be remembered for her infectious laughter, quick wit, and her willingness to give selflessly.

Faye is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe, and her brother, Lloyd. She is survived by her children, Lynne and Dan Struwe, Craig and Karen Fulwyler, Suzanne and Jim Orr, and Janet and Craig Becker, along with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Faye's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

In this time of loss, let us remember the joy and inspiration that Faye brought into our lives. May her memory be a blessing, and may she find eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Funeral services will be held at Laurelgeln Bible Church, in Bakersfield, beginning at 11:00am, on June 30, 2023. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Faye's remarkable life and paying tribute to the incredible person she was.
