Eva Ilda Grantham was born May 16, 2016 in San Benito, Texas, one of twelve children born to Ascension (Tijerina) and Concepcion Luna. The family moved to California in 1958 to Coalinga and Eva graduated from Coalinga High School with the Class of 1972. The family then moved to Lost Hills in 1973 and Eva met Kelley D. Grantham. They married September 27, 1975. Eva worked over 18 years as a clerk for several grocery stores, including Von's. Eva and Kelley were members of St. Francis Parish. She loved going to antique stores and shopping was the hobby she enjoyed the most. Eva enjoyed sewing and had made blankets for her grandchildren, which will be cherished. Eva is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kelley Grantham, Sr.; son, Kelley Grantham, Jr. and wife Kellie; daughters, Tonya Beltran and husband Frank and Tessa Hampton and husband Loren; grandchildren, June Hampton and Quinn Grantham; brothers, Donicio Luna, Donaciano Luna, David Luna and Daniel Luna; sisters, Emeteria Gonzalez, Ernestina Salinas, Estella Cortez, Concepcion Mata and Emma Clifford. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Damien Luna; and one sister, Emma Luna. Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, February 18 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco for Eva Ilda Grantham, age 62, of Bakersfield who passed away February 10, 2016 in Los Angeles. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 19 at 10am at St. John's Church, Wasco followed by interment at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18 from 4pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco.
