Funeral services were conducted by Peters Funeral Home for Eunice Addine Harp, age 85, on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 10am, at Shafter Pentecostal "Jesus Saves" Church. Pastor Steve Seymour officiated. Interment followed at Shafter Memorial Park. Casket bearers were Brad Jones, Don Smith, Jerry Arney, Dan Harris, Stan Hester and Doug Gragg; Honorary Bearers were Cody Lewis and Andrew Lewis. Eunice was born in Stigler, Oklahoma, to Guy and Esther Whicker on May 8, 1921. She moved to Arvin in 1934, and married Roy B. Harp on December 12, 1936. The couple came to Shafter in 1950. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1990; and daughter, Nicki Lewis. She is survived by her children, Ron and Linda, Harp both of Shafter; brother, Billy Gene Whicker of Clovis; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
