Eugene "Clayton" Sheppard Born August 3, 1946, left this world for a better place May 29, 2014. Clayton loved life and lived it to the fullest, he was loved by all who knew him. He loved to sing and everyone who heard him was amazed at his beautiful voice. He never met a stranger and talked to anyone who would listen. He could talk football for hours and knew the stats and scores of games past and presents. Left to cherish his memories is his wife Linda Sheppard of Wasco, his 3 sons Elvis Sheppard of Hawaii, Ryan Sheppard of Arizona, and Rudy & Sharon Gillean of Colorado, his 3 daughters Lisa & Scott Firestone of Nevada, Diane Kent of Wasco,and Lisa & Pat Miller of Bakersfield 13 grand-kids and 4 great grand-kids. A Graveside service will be held Friday, June 13, 2014, at 2:00 at Bakersifeld National Cemetery,30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, California Please A gathering will follow at the home of Lisa & Pat Miller in Bakersfield.
