Viewing for Esther was held Sunday, October 22, 2006 and Monday, October 23, 2006 from 2-8pm with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm on Monday, October 23, 2006, at Arvin Funeral Home Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Father Lucas Azpericueta was the officiante. Esther, 70, was born to Ramon and Maria de Jesus Ledezma on March 29, 1936. She married in 1953 to Ramon Garcia in Guanajuato, Mexico. Esther came to California in 1997 where she dedicated herself as a homemaker. She liked to pray and attend church at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Esther liked spending time knitting and reading. Esther is survived by her husband Ramon Garcia; her sons, Ramon, Juan, Agustine, Salvador, Manuel and Antonia Garcia; her daughters, Maria Consuelo, Maria de Jesus, Celestina, Lala, Lidia and Esther Garcia; her Jesus Ledezma; her sister Audelia and Maria Consuelo Ledezma and 38 grandchildren.
