Born in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, México to Ernesto and Elvira Perez. Ernesto passed way May 2, 2007 in Bakersfield. He graduated from East Bakersfield High School in 1960 and served in the U.S Army. Ernesto is a widower of Maria Angela and is survived by a step daughter, Reina Ayala and son Ernesto Jr. as well as his mother Elvira and siblings, Elias, Eddie, Juanita Estella, Jesse, Lilly, and Rick. Rosary will be said on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 6:00pm at Hopson- Anspach Mortuary in Lamont. Funeral service will begin at 10:00am, Saturday, May 5 at Hopson-Anspach with interment following at the Arvin cemetery.
