Erika Renee Ybarra January 24, 1990 – May 29, 2012 Noah Daniel Higuera – May 29, 2012 Erika Renee Ybarra and Noah Daniel Higuera entered the loving arms of Jesus together on May 29, 2012. Erika was born January 24, 1990 in Bakersfield, California to Maria (Martinez) and Robert Ybarra. She grew up in Wasco attending Wasco elementary schools, Wasco High School and Independence High School with the class of 2008. She loved her family and her daughter meant everything to her; Erika was a good and loving mother who put others before herself. Being a mother brought her joy and she was looking forward to having her second child, a son, Noah. Erika is survived by her fiancé, Cesar Higuera; daughter, Natalie Higuera; mother, Maria Ybarra; brothers, Robert Ybarra and his wife Sandra, Raymond Ybarra and his wife Anna Maria, Mark Ybarra and Richard Ybarra; sisters, Margaret Gonzalez and her husband Cornelio, Gloria Benitez and her husband Jose Luis, and Chrystal Ybarra; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Erika was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ybarra in 2007 and her grandparents. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Sunday, June 3, at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Erika and Noah who passed away in McKittrick on May 29, 2012 in an auto accident. Mass of the Christian Burial will be said Monday, June 4 at 10am at St. John's Church. Fr. John will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
