Eric John Tovar was born September 25, 1971 in Los Angeles, California one of three children born to Guadalupe (Saldana) and Gregory Tovar. At a young age, the family moved to Wasco and Eric attended Wasco elementary schools and Wasco High School with the class of 1989. He married Antonia "Toni" Quevedo July 13, 2009 at Westside Family Fellowship. Eric worked in oil field construction for KSI for the past 6 years. Eric loved off-roading, riding his quad and driving his 4-wheel truck and going to the lake. Eric was known for being able to walk into anyone's home and making himself at home. Survivors include his wife Toni; father, Gregory Tovar; children, Spencer, John, Ethan, Chris, Vincent, Sabrina and Isabella; granddaughter, Natalie; brother, Greg and wife Brenda; and sister, Lorraine and husband Jesse Gutierrez. Eric was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28 at 10am at Westside Family Fellowship for Eric John Tovar, age 42, of Wasco who passed away August 17, 2014 in Wasco. Pastor Johnny Martinez will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27 from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
