Enriqueta J. Ruiz, 93, of Wasco entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 in Delano, CA. She was born January 5th, 1928 in Wasco, CA to Felipe Juarez and Maximiana Reyes. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joaquin O. Ruiz, son Marty Juarez, and daughter Dora Ruiz. She leaves to cherish one sister, Carmen Bolanos of Lodi; three sons, Ray (Sue) Ruiz of Bakersfield, Joaquin (Danielle) Ruiz of Shafter, and Danny Ruiz of Lodi; three daughters, Lydia Ruiz of Wasco, Rosemary Ruiz of Bakersfield, and Lupe (Hector) Ruiz-Gonzalez of Bakersfield, 23 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Enriqueta was a life-long resident of Wasco, CA. She was also a faithful member of St. John's Catholic Church, even becoming a member of the Guadalupana Society. Enriqueta was no stranger to hard work. She spent of twenty years working as a laborer in the agricultural fields. She loved and was loved by her family. She loved working in her garden and watering her plants. While she was not rich, she had riches that money can't buy. She lived a life full of love and laughter. A reading of the rosary and viewing will be held on Thursday, August 5th, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco. Church services will be held on Friday, August 6th, at 9am at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco. Graveside services will follow at Wasco Cemetery on Hwy 46.
