Enrique Sanchez 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 27, 2011. He was born in San Francisco Cajones, Oaxaca, Mexico on July 16, 1930. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Arvin. Enrique is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosa Sanchez who went to be with the Lord in 2006. He is survived by his daughter Ana Morales and her husband Reyes of Bakersfield, his son Rick of Arvin and son, Joe Sanchez and wife Veronica of Arvin and 12 grandchildren. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family, and his clogs. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at First Baptist Church at 10am for Enrique Hernandez Sanchez, Sr. Pastor Eliu Tellez will officiate the service and interment will follow at South Kern Cemetery District. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 4-8pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
