Emry Crawford was born in Long Beach, CA, April 26, 1925 to Donivan "DC" and Addie Crawford. He passed away in Bakersfield, CA, August 10, 2017. Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Norma Dean Mills, and his sisters, Vada Bowles, Doris Mozingo and Ina L. Crawford Emry is survived by daughter, Cindy Lynn Miller and husband David, and son, Donivan Chris Crawford and Wife Kathie. Three Grandchildren and 10 great Grandchildren and Brother David G. Crawford. Emry was a proud World War II veteran having served in the Army. In his later years he was involved with the Honor Flight of Kern County He returned to the Wasco area where he farmed for 50 years. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Honor Flight of Kern County. Chapel Services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 9:30am at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter. Interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
