Emilio Jr. Mendoza was born in Bakersfield, California on April 2, 1995 to Yvette Cortez and Emigdio Mendoza. He enjoyed playing sports especially baseball. He worked for Grimmway Farms in Agriculture for a few years. Emilio was the father of Noah Emilio and Ethan Nehemiah Mendoza. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, father, uncle and cousin. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 26, 2018. He is survived by his girlfriend Bella Rodriguez; parents Yvette Cortez and Emigido Mendoza; grandparents Pete Cortez, Maria Garcia; sons Noah Emilio Mendoza and Ethan Nehemiah Mendoza; step-sister Araselie Mendoza; niece and nephew and cousins. Emilio is preceded in death by her grandmother Paula Rios. Funeral Services for Emilio will be held at Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church on Tuesday July 10 at 9am followed by Graveside Service will be held at Shafter Memorial Park. Viewing and family visitation will be on Monday July 9th from 4-8pm. Son you are my gift from God, we will truly miss you mijo but we know you are resting and in a better place now. I love you to the moon & back and know I'll see you in heaven one day.
