Emeline "Joan" Donwerth, died in McAlester, OK. She is survived by her sister, Margit Mansfield of Tuscon, Arizona; sons, Jim and wife, Tommie La Verne, Vernon and wife, Lorie Spangler, both of Bakersfield, CA; daughter Carol Ray of McAlester, OK. She has 9 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She overcame Polio and Sleeping Sickness as a child. She worked for over 20 years at E. O. Mitchell, in Arvin, CA. Graveside service will be held November 16th, at 2:00 pm Arvin Public Cemetery.
