Elva Emma Briones de Garcia May 25, 1947 – April 29, 2010 Elva Emma Briones de Garcia was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamalipas, Mexico to Ester and Domingo Briones, Elva and Gregorio Garcia were married 45 years and had 3 children. Elva and her family settle in Lost Hills, California, she worked as a field worker for many years, Elva cook very good food for her family, and every Sunday she would cook good menudo for the family gatherings. She enjoyed working on her garden and she had a strong faith. She was very supportive with her children, loved her grandchildren, her joy was to to spent time with her family and friends. Elva is survived by her husband Gregorio, son, Erasmo Garcia and wife Maria, daughters, Amada Almazan and husband Federico, Lorena Linarez and husband Juan. 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at Fuente de Jacobo Church at 12:30 pm for Elva Emma Briones de Garcia age, 62 of Lost Hills, who passed away, April 29, 2010 in Bakersfield. Interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2, 2010 at Fuente de Jacobo Church in Wasco from 4 pm to 11:30 pm.
