Elsie Irene Ingram, 85, of Bakersfield, California, slipped into the arms of our heavenly Father on January 20, 2024. Born on November 21, 1938, in Monte Vista, Colorado, Elsie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Elsie was a devout Christian that held strong to her convictions and beliefs and wasn't shy about telling you how she felt about things. She was an exceptional seamstress, dedicating 40 years of her life to her craft. She had a keen eye for detail and her creations were admired by many. In her spare time, Elsie enjoyed sewing, crafting, and painting. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be forever treasured. However, her true passion lay in the kitchen, where she delighted in cooking and baking delicious desserts for her loved ones.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Jack Ingram of 48 years. Elsie is survived by her sister Stella St. Lawrence of Jarrell, Texas. Daughter Sindy King and her husband Stephen King, as well as her son Jack (JD) Ingram Jr. of Bakersfield, CA. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Tabitha Adams (Bryan Adams) of Roswell, NM and Travis King of Bakersfield, CA and her great-grandchildren James, Owen, Conner, Fay, Cassidy, and Sara Adams of Roswell, NM. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal services held to commemorate Elsie's life.
