Elsa (Bravo) Torres was born in Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, Mexico on October 11, 1950, to parents, Alfredo and Jovita (Arteaga) Bravo. She married Miguel Angel Torres in Buttonwillow, in December of 1983. The couple were blessed with 4 children and a home filled with laughter. Elsa enjoyed word searches, listening to George Strait, and watching her favorite show NCIS. Above all else, she loved her grandkids, and always looked forward to spending time with them. Elsa is survived by her husband, Miguel; her children, Aime Aust, Elsa Torres, Maria Torres, and Miguel Torres Jr.; her grandchildren, Alaina Frausto, Leonardo Torres Chavez, Yaitzel Torres, Maylee Ruiz, Andrew Logan Frausto, Adelina Frausto, Jaiden and Jordan Torres; her siblings, Lydia Covarrubias, Dora Bravo, Rose Bravo, Alfredo Bravo Jr., Jesse Bravo and Albert Bravo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo and Jovita; her brother, Jose Bravo; brother-in-law, Nicholas Anaya; and 2 uncles, Gilberto, and Ernesto Bravo. Visition was held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco, on Wednesday, July 8, from 5:00 to 8:00pm, with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass was held at St. John's Catholic Church, on Thursday, July 9, at 1:00pm followed by interment at Wasco Memorial Park; Father Raul A. Sanchez-Flores officiated.
