Eliseo was born in Los Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to Crecencio and Bruna Gonzalez on September 13, 1944. The family moved to Caruthers, California in 1956, and Eliseo help his family financial working in the grapes. He married Minerva Gomez on January 9, 1966, in Shafter. Eliseo worked as a farm laborer for Bergman and Isaac for 23 years and for Paramount Farms for 5 years. Eliseo enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He loved to play with his grandchildren and give them rides on his wheelchair. Eliseo is survived by his wife, Minerva; son, Rene Gonzalez; daughters, Diana G and husband, Arturo Espinoza, Yesenia G. and husband, Osvaldo Osornio all of Shafter and Nelda and husband, Enrique Raudry of Texas; sister, Estefana G. Vera of Fresno; 6 grandchildren, Joshua and Jonathan Raudry, Melissa and Roberto Osornio, and Magaly and Arturo Espinoza, Jr. Visitation was held at Peters Funeral Home for Eliseo Martinez Gonzalez, age 63, who passed away in Bakersfield, on November 15, 2007, after a long illness.
