Eliberto Arevalo Lopez was born August 1, 1952 in Samora, Michuacan, Mexico to Maria Luisa (Lopez-Frias) and Roberto Arevalo Garnica. He met and married his wife Maria Martha (Perez) together they had 7 children. He was a resident of Moorepark, California for many years, where he raised his children and worked at Misua Nursery. Some favorite pass times included; playing cards, being surrounded by family, playing basketball and stirring up some good meals for everyone to sit at the table with him and enjoy. Martha and he moved to Arvin last year to be near his two daughters and grandchildren. He was a generous man, with a lot of charisma, although on dialysis for the last 16 years, he never stopped smiling or handing out love. Eliberto an avid fan of the Mexican Soccer team "Chivas". He lost his long battle with liver illness and was surrounded by his family when the Lord called him. He is preceded in death by both his parents and survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Martha; daughters, Esmerelda Arevalo, Claudia Arevalo, Eriba Hernandez, Beatriz Villalobos, Prisma Arevalo, Gabriela Arevalo; his young son Eliberto Arevalo; brothers Onofre Bravo, Ramon Arevalo, Federico Arevalo; sisters Agapita, Carolina, Imelda, Norma and Marta Arevalo; 13 beautiful grandchildren and 1 precious great-grandchild; numerous extended family members and many friends. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held for Eliberto Arevalo Lopez, age 58, of Arvin, on Monday, November 8, 2010 – 10 am at Holy Cross, Moorpark CA, burial immediately following at Assumption Cemetery, Simi Valley CA. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Arvin Funeral Home with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5pm. ******************************************************************** Eliberto Arévalo López nació el 1 de Agosto 1952 en Zamora, Michoacán México, ha María Luisa (López- Frías) y Roberto Arévalo Garnica. El se caso con María Martha Pérez juntos tuvieron siete hijos. Eliberto fue residente de Moorpark, California por varios años, en esta ciudad crio a sus hijos y trabajo en la Nerseria Misua. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran: juego de cartas, estar radiado de familiares, jugar a basquetbol y preparar una buena comida para compartir con la familia. Eliberto y Martha se mudaron a Arvin en el año 2009 para estar sercas de dos hijas y nietos. El fue un hombre muy generoso y tuvo bastante carisma, en sus diez y seis anos de diálisis nunca dejo de sonreír y dar amor. Fue muy fanatico al equipo Mexicano El Guadalajara "Las Chivas". En sus últimos momentos de su larga batalla contra la enfermedad del hígado, sus hijas estaban con el ala ahora que lo llamo Nuestro Señor. Eliberto fue precedido en muerte por sus padres y le sobrevive su querida esposa de 48 anos Martha; hijas Esmeralda Arevalo, Claudia Arevalo, Eriba Hernandez, Beatriz Villalobos, Prisma Arevalo, Gabriela Arevalo; hijo Eliberto Arevalo; Hermanos Onofre Bravo, Ramon Arevalo, Federico Arevalo; Hermanas Agapita, Carolina, Imelda, Norma y Martha Arevalo; 13 hermosos nietos y una preciosa bisnieta, Numerosos familiares y amigos. Misa de la Resurecion sera el Lunes 8 de Noviembre a las 10:00am en Iglesia de La Santa Cruz, Moorpark, CA. Sepelio sige imediatamente en el Panteón de Acepción, Simi Valley CA. Visitación el Domingo 7 de Noviembre 2010 de 2-8pm con el ensayo del Santo Rosario a las 5:00 pm en La Funeraria de Arvin.
