Eileen A. Conklin January 26, 1948 – May 19, 2010 On May 19, 2010 Eileen A. Conklin 62, of McFarland, CA. passed away peacefully with her family close by. Eileen was born to Richard and Dorothy Vick on January 26, 1948 in Jamestown, New York. Eileen met the love of her life when she was 16 years old. They spent 45 years building a wonderful life together. They raised 3 children and were blessed with 7 grandchildren. Eileen enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She had a love for animals and enjoyed her part time job at Stouts Veterinarian in Delano, CA. We often joked the animals were very lucky if they had her as an owner. Eileen was a very special woman and will be missed by all. Eileen was preceded in death by her fathers Richard Vick and Theodore Dolan. She is survived by her husband Daryl Conklin of McFarland. Her mother, Dorothy Dolan and her brothers, David and Tim Dolan of Star, ID. Sisters: Gail Springman of Klammoth Falls, OR., and Kay Bratton of Star, ID.. Her children, Henry Conklin and Dara Levenson of Bakersfield and Kim and Dean Howard of McFarland. Grandchildren; Megan and Bobbi Conklin, Lindsey and Michael Cavanaugh, Jake and Kourtney Hall and Tiffany Howard. All of her animals and her special friend Nancy Longcrier. Visitation will be Monday May 24, at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter starting at 11AM with the funeral service to follow at 1PM. Interment will take place at Shafter Memorial Park.
