Edna Mae Gilbert, passed away February 19, 2013 in Bakersfield, CA. She was 73. She was born in Belzoni, Mississippi, May 1, 1939. Edna graduated from Shafter High School in 1957. She leaves behind her son Randy Gilbert, brother, Mark Hanson (Debbie), sisters, Juanita McClain (Bill), Joann Kenley. Four grandchildren, Jennifer Divina, Miranda Templeton, Leslie Cole and Charles Jacob. 8 grandchildren. Predeceasing Edna is her loving husband Charles Lester Gilbert, Sr. and her parents Mark and Edna Hanson. Visitation was held Friday, February 22, 2013 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter, CA.
