Obituary

Edna Coble came into this world 89 years ago on May 7th, 1926 in Keota, Oklahoma. She was a loving soul that made every house she walked into a home; with love, respect and kind words. On April 11th, 1946 she married the love of her life, Vernon Coble, and their family grew. Edna had three beautiful children two boys (Donald & Ronald) and her baby girl (Connie). Edna enjoyed life and was always able to see the positive things in life. Edna had an instant talent to make every person she met a long lost friend; she made people feel at ease. Edna was always up for an adventure and loved playing the slots at the Casino. Her favorite hobby was gardening; she never saw an ugly flower. She also loved embroidering and quilting, but her greatest attribute was loving her family. Edna Coble is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Doshie Salyards; her husband, Vernon Coble; her son, Ron Coble; three sisters and two brothers. Edna is survived by her son, Donald and daughter in law Janie; her daughter Connie and son in law Danny Rumsey; her sister, Beachie Taylor from Stigler, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jimmy Coble, Terry and Timothy Esquer, Ronnie Coble, Don Coble and Jennifer, Stacey and David Brooks, Matthew and Lisa Coble, Jennifer and Weston Joy; and she was a loving GG to 10 Great Grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to ProCare Hospice for their support through this journey. Edna passed away peacefully on April 13, 2016 surrounded by her family. Graveside services were held on Friday April 15, 2016 at 2pm at Shafter Memorial Park. Chaplain Joseph Cardamone officiated.
