"Mundo" (Jr), age 44, was born in Bakersfield, California and raised in Arvin. Mundo received his GED and attended Bakersfield College. Mundo married Elizabeth Hernandez on June 24, 1989, and had two children, Pricilla and Mundito. Mundo worked as a handy man starting at age 21. Mundo was well known in Arvin by the people. He was a very outgoing, happy and loving person. He would be the first to say I Love You, Thank You, or I'm Sorry. Mundo would not hesitate to go that extra mile to help anyone in need when he was available. His hobbies included reading, camping, fishing, and doing carpentry work. Mundo always had an incredible memory and cherished his friends dearly. Mundo would always attend funerals of those whom he knew. Mundo was known for his generosity and will be greatly missed. Mundo is preceded in death by his mother, Dolores M. Hernandez. Mundo is survived by his ex-wife, Elizabeth Hernandez; his son, Edmundo Hernandez the III; his daughter, Pricilla Hernandez; his father, Edmundo Hernandez Sr.; his brother, Andrew Hernandez; his sister Penny Perez; his aunts, Irene and Margaret; his uncle, Raymundo; his cousins, Easter, Freddi, Steven, Mark and Michelle. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 6, at 2 pm at Templo Ebenezer on the corner of Walnut Street and Mark Street in Arvin. Pastor Manuel Martinez will officiate and interment will follow at Arvin Cemetery. Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 5, from 2-8 pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
