Edith Trevino was born on January 19, 1961 in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to Roberto Cunningham and Amparo (Lopez) Cunningham. She spent most of her life being the best wife, mother and grandmother that she could be. Edith loved her family. She would do anything and everything for them. Although she kept to herself most of the time, there was not a moment she was not thinking optimistically. Edith had a courageous and beautiful personality. Everyone who knew Edith would agree that she was a warrior and overall great person. Edith passed away on September 27, 2015 surrounded by her beloved family, who will miss their loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Edith is survived by her husband, Onofre Trevino; father, Roberto Cunningham; son, Alfredo Trevino (Angela Gallo); daughters, Cynthia (George) Lopez, Kathleen Trevino (Carlos Alonso), Judith Trevino (Omar Martinez); 12 grandchildren, Aileen, Heidy, Ketzia, Andy, Brandon, Edith, Jessica, Jocy, Angelique, Diego, Andrea, Monique. She is preceded in death by her mother, Amparo Cunningham. A funeral service was officiated by Javier Avelar Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11am at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter. Ella viene precedida en la muerte de su madre, Amparo Cunningham. Un servicio fúnebre fue oficiado por Javier Avelar miércoles, 30 de septiembre de 2015 a las 11:00am en la capilla funeraria Peters en Shafter. Una visita fue martes, 29 de septiembre de 2015 a las 2-8pm.
