Earl L. Boozer was born in Fredrick , Oklahoma on February 8, 1922 to Stella Mary (Hamilton) and Burt Boozer. He was a Grocery Business Owner for 12 years and lived in Kern County for 69 years. Earl went into active duty in the U.S. Navy during World War II at the age of 18 and was honorably discharged in August, 1946 receiving a Victory Medal. He is survived by his sons, John and wife Delfina, Carlos and wife Mickey; daughter, Reina and husband Justin Krizo; brothers, Tommy Lou and Bobby Glen of Sacramento; sister, Wanda Jean Helen of San Diego; 18 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; many friends and acquaintances. Graveside Service was held for Earl L. Boozer, age 87 of Bakersfield, on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11:30 am at Union Cemetery with the Honor Guard present. Visitation was held September 3, 2009 from 2-8pm at Hopson-Anspach with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm.
