Durward L. Gresham July 2, 1924-Feb. 17, 2009 A service for Durward L. "Woody" Gresham will be held at noon Feb. 23 in First Southern Baptist Church at 56374 Onaga Trail in Yucca Valley. Minister Grover Fletcher of First Southern Baptist will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Lawn in Covina with a graveside service on Feb. 24. Mr. Gresham died at 2:54 p.m. Feb. 17, 2009. He was 84 years old. The son of Pete Gresham and Ruth Mitchell Gresham, he was born July 2, 1924, in Oklahoma. He lived in California 63 years and in Yucca Valley six years. Mr. Thurwood was a truck driver for 36 years, working for Lyman Smith Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Donna and his sister Janetta. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Cora Gresham of Yucca Valley; daughters Connie Gresham of Las Vegas, Nev., and Debbie Williams of Joshua Tree; son Lee Gresham of Frazier Park; grandsons Jason Bruce of Sedona, Ariz., David Gresham and Derrek Gresham, both of Frazier Park, Dylan Garland of Henderson, Nev., and Michael McDonald of Alabama; granddaughters Jennifer Franzoi of Las Vegas, Nev., and Andrea Espinoza of Beaumont; great-grandchildren Isaiah Espinoza, Makayla Espinoza, Hayden Bruce, Gavin Bruce and Audrey McDonald; brother Mel Gresham of Fallbrook; and sister Sybil Crouch of Laguna Hills.
