Doyne Williamson October 12, 1942 - November 28, 2015 Doyne Williamson was born on October 12, 1942 in Rector, Arkansas to Willis and Violet (Herren) Williamson. He was peacefully called home November 28, 2015 to join the love of his life, Mary who preceded him in death on June 18, 2013. They were married on July 14, 1961 and Doyne shared great joy being a husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother and friend to all. He is survived by his children Brian Williamson, Bakersfield, CA and Renee Sandvick and husband Chris, Ardmore, OK; grandchildren Carisa Roberson and husband Greg, Ada, OK, Brindi Talley, Oklahoma City, OK, Bo Talley, Perryton, TX, Brennan Williamson, Bakersfield, CA, Carlee Sandvick, Ardmore, OK; great grandchildren Gracie, Hannah and Jordan Roberson Ada, OK; brothers Jackie Williamson, William Williamson, Donnie Williamson and wife Vickie, and David Williamson; sisters Geneva Simpson, Joyce Brinsfield, Marie Morgan and Jannetta Ellis. Doyne was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sister Wyonna McDaniel; brother Freddie Williamson, brother-in-laws Jay Simpson, David Morgan, Carl Brinsfield; and sister-in-law Barbara Williamson. Doyne has lost family and friends and many still survive him, but the memories are forever in his heart. Services are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home and will be held at Shafter Memorial Park on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 11am.
