Dorothy Shields was born in Bakersfield, California on March 16, 1933 and went to be with her Savior November 30, 2007. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. Dorothy leaves behind her beloved sons, Ben and wife, Becky, Paul and wife, Rose; as well as grandsons, Jarrad and wife, Sarah, Scott and David, and her only granddaughter, Jennifer Shields, as well as her only great granddaughter, Miah Shields. She also leaves behind sisters; Lassie, Elva and Jessie and many other family members. She leaves a legacy of many loving memories and will deeply be missed by all whom knew her. Dorothy was a loving and giving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. Graveside services will be Thursday Dec.6, @ 10:00 am at the Wasco cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charitable organization of your choice in Dorothy's name would greatly be appreciated.
