Dot Pignato was born in Brownsville, Texas on March 8, 1936 to Rudolph Brown and Lily Robarge. She was called home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2015 in Bakersfield, California. She was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Lily, and her grandson Joshua Kroeker. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Vic Pignato and 8 children. Daughter Jeannie (Skip Bonner), son Butch McWhorter, daughter Martha Gail (Byron Kroeker), daughter Sandra (Michael Pruitt), daughter Susan McWhorter, daughter Donna Pignato Aguilere, daughter Jenny Pignato Arrellanes, and daughter Linda (Scott Galvin). She is also survived by brother Pat Brown (Rita), brother Bill Brown (Sharon), sister Joann Rooney (Terry), and sister Janice Smith (Mike). Dot also leaves behind 16 grandkids and 18 great-grandkids. Dot had an unshakeable faith in God. She led by example and her life was a testimony to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will long be remembered for the love and caring that she showed others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and family meant everything to her. Services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 at Southwest Christian Center located at 3700 Stine Rd. Bakersfield, California.
