Dorothy Lucille Jennings, affectionately known as "Nanny", was born October 30, 1920, in McAlister, Oklahoma, to Nick and Ethel (Pace) Compelube. She passed away November 29, 2006, in Delano, California. Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her husband , James, June 25, 1990. She is survived by her grandchildren: Gary Earl, Sunni Dobbs, both of Wasco, and Shelbie Jameson of Colorado. Dorothy was a truck driver in the agriculture market for over 20 years. She enjoyed watching over her grandkids and taking them to Perko's and Taco Bell. She was very independent and strong willed. Graveside services were December 4, 2006, 2:00pm, at Wasco Memorial Park, with Pastor John Ross of West Side Family Fellowship officiated the service.
