Dorothy was born to Jacob and Matilda Dirksen in Cutler, CA. Dorothy was the third youngest of 9 children growing up in Shafter. She attended Kern Academy School. She worked at the Shafter Motel, and as a switch board operator in Pixley when she was younger and was a homemaker for her family after marriage. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jim Frazier; daughter Donna Saucier; granddaughter, Sandy Sinha; and great-granddaughter, Nomita Sinha. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Eubanks of Bakersfield; daughter, Lori Horn and son-in-law Todd Horn of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Horn of Bakersfield, Randy Landfair of Laughlin, NV, Craig Landfair of Little Rock, AK, Parry Bridges of Owego, NY, and Kurt Akman of Ventura, CA; and many loving great-grandchildren. Chapel Service for Dorothy Della Frazier, age 87 of Bakersfield, will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11am at Peters Funeral Home. Visitation from 2 – 8 pm, Friday, October 23, 2009.
