On Sunday, September 16, 2018, Donald Leslie Norman, husband, father, and brother, passed away at the age of 74 years. Donnie was predeceased by parents Edward and Gladys, his brother Ronald, and his sister, Susan. Donnie will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend for more than 40 years, Sharon, and their children, Paul and James R. (Renee), Sherri and James C. (Rhonda), his sister Donna (Richard), and his six grandchildren, Elijah, Mikaylah, Izzy, Tyler, Johnny, and Bradley, and his six great grandchildren. Donnie will also be forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Donnie was born on July 15, 1944 in Bakersfield, CA. He served in the United State Navy, during Vietnam. He was proud of his time in submarines and in the "brown water navy". After the Navy, he took up many different occupations. He worked many years as a carpenter, handy man, before moving into oil field work. He has always loved spending time with his friends and family, especially if it involved his love of his motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and even flying ultralights, but mostly his Harley. Donnie, we will always hold your memory in our hearts.
