Donald L. Tietjen, 54, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in his home in Las Vegas, NV, where he has resided for the past 3 years. He was born October 7, 1954 in Bakersfield, CA to Donald Dale Tietjen (deceased) and Betty (Tanksley) Lomeli. Donnie is survived by his twin daughters, Tiffany Dawn Tietjen and Stephanie Lee Tietjen; his parents, Kiki and Betty Lomeli; brother, Ed Tietjen; two sisters, Linda Tigner and Mary Smith; 2 nieces, 4 nephews, and many other family members and friends. Donnie has worked in concrete as a foreman for the past 36 years. He has lived in Bakersfield and the Sacramento area most of his adult life. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his daughters and going on family vacations such as Bass Lake, Pismo Beach, Lake Powell and camping. He also enjoyed collecting money clips, rare coins, shooting and collecting guns. He will be missed for his fun personality, giving and loving heart.
