Donald Jenkins was born on April 14, 1947 in Wasco, California to Floyd Jenkins and Mary (Honea) Jenkins. Although Donald was born in Wasco, he was raised in Mcfarland, where he attended all the local schools. He was a hard working man that treasured his family and always put them first. Donald could be described as being stubborn, but that never outshined his loving and generous nature. He loved printing new pictures of family members and admiring them from their place on his desk. Donald enjoyed fishing with his loved ones and bringing red roses to his beautiful wife, May (Jones) Jenkins. On August 28, 2015, Donald embraced God's arms, at the age of 68. He was surrounded by his beloved family that will miss him very much. Donald is survived by his wife of 49 years, May Jenkins; daughters, Lori Jenkins, Teresa Johnson, Amber (David) Champion; grandchildren; Daniel Jenkins, Heather Anderson, Bryna Champion, Dylan Champion, Jeremy Johnson; great grandchildren, Leland Snow, Kyler Champion; brother, Dean Jenkins. He is preceded in death by his grandson, John Jenkins; parents, Floyd and Mary Jenkins; brother, David Jenkins. A graveside service will be officiated by Pastor Larry Wood Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10am at Shafter Memorial Park.
