IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Domingo Aguayo
Reyes
September 22, 1946 – November 14, 2011
Domingo was raised at a young age by his grandfather Marciano Aguayo in Mexicalli, Mx. As the first born son of a migrant working family; he began working very young to help his loved ones. He worked all through the Imperial Valley down to Mendota as a farm laborer. On a trip to his parents native land of Aguascalientes, Mexico he met his beautiful wife. A year after having his first son he moved his new family from Mexicalli and settled in Lost Hills, Ca. Domingo was an intelligent and ambitious man and after working hard as a laborer for several years he ventured on working for himself as an owner/operator of a mobile home park. After successfully establishing his family financially, he retired after 20 years of hard work and dedication. Domingo was strong, humble and always simple. He was never greedy and envious. He helped many people establish themselves in this country. He loved being outdoors and planting vegetables and fruits with his grandchildren at the family ranch. In his final years he was afflicted with a debilitating condition that led him to strengthen the bond with all of his children and wife. He showed us the power and grace of God through his enduring patience and faith. He passed on next to his beloved daughter and wife. "Papa" so wise beyond our comprehension, whose teachings and words will live on forever in our hearts. We will not forget that you taught us to be humble yet to live life with purpose, conviction, and integrity. "Un dia a la vez". Domingo is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Onecima Perez. He is survived by his sons, Jose Martin and wife Irma Reyes, Eduardo and wife Lydia Reyes, and Esteban Reyes; daughters, Linda and husband Pedro Magana, Guadalupe and husband Manuel Garcia; 11 siblings, 14 grandchildren with one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home for Domingo Aguayo Reyes, age 65, of Wasco, who passed away on November 14, 2011 in Wasco. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch officiated and interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park.
