Domingo Navarro was born May 12, 1931 in La Aldea, Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria Mercedes (Alvarez) and Juan Navarro. He came to Kern County in 2000 where he started working as a farm laborer with various agriculture farms. He and his wife Maria Ysabel have been in the Wasco area and have enjoyed being near family. One of his favorite pass-times was to play pool, the other was riding his bike around the town; weather it was to one of his children's home or to the grocery store, he enjoyed riding his bike. He always had good advice for the family and enjoyed watching them grow with the addition of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loyal LA Dodger fan, listening and watching games whenever possible, even while in the hospital during his last days he was rooting for them. Domingo is survived by his wife, Maria Ysabel; sons, J. Natividad, Gumercindo, J. Luz and Victor Navarro; daughters, Juana, Felipa, Carmela, Lucia, Alicia and Adriana Navarro; 48 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Mass of the Resurrection for Domingo Navarro, age 78 of Wasco, will be held 10 am - Friday, October 9, 2009 at St. Johns in Wasco. He will be laid to rest in Guanajuato, Mexico at the same cemetery his parents are. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm with recitation of the Holy Rosary commencing at 5:30 at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. El y su esposa, Maria Ysabel han echo su hogar en Wasco donde viven sercas de sus hijos. Ha el le gustaba jugar billar y andar en su bicicleta, si hera par ir a visitar su familia o ir a la tienda, el iba agusto en su bicicleta. Segido tenia y dava Buenos ejemplos y consejos a su familia y le daba gusto ver su familia crecer con nuevos nietos y bis-nietos. Hera un fan fiel de los Dodgers de Los Angeles le gustaba verlos o ohir los juegos en cualquier tiempo que se prestaba, hasta cuando estaba internado en el hospital en sus ultimos dias. La familia que sobre vive ha Domingo es su esposa Maria Ysabel, hijos, , J. Natividad, Gumercindo, J. Luz y Victor Navarro; hijas, Juana, Felipa, Carmela, Lucia, Alicia y Adriana Navarro; 48 nietos, y 7 bis-nietos, muchos sobrinos, sobrinas, amistades y familia extendida. Misa del la Resurecion para Domingo Navarro, edad 78 anos de Wasco, sera ha las 10 am – Viernes, 9 de Octubre en la iglesia de San Juan en Wasco.
