Dolores Espericueta Sandoval was born May 24, 1939 in Acaponeta, Nayarit, Mexico to Joaquin and Andréa (Ahumada) Espericueta. She married Jesus Sandoval in 1962 and they moved to Arvin in 1973. Lola was the sweetest person, always kind, nice and soft spoken. Everyone loved her and she will be deeply missed. Lola is survived by her husband, Jesus of Arvin; children, Elsa Cedano of San Bernardino, Saul Duran of Las Vegas, Guadalupe and wife Sonia of Arvin, Mercedes Sandoval of Bakersfield, Andrea Arroyo and husband Jose of Arvin, Victor Sandoval of Bakersfield, and Elias Sandoval and wife Limbania of Bakersfield; brother, Domingo Espericueta of Arvin and sister, Josephine Espericueta of Mexico; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jesus Sandoval, Jr. who passed away in 1985, her parents and 3 siblings. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said, Monday, September 8 at 7pm at Arvin Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday, September 9, at noon at St. Thomas Church. Fr. Jorge de la Torre will officiate and interment will follow at South Kern Cemetery, Arvin. Visitation will be held Monday from 2pm – 9pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
