Dollie Sue Adams (Pee Wee to friends and family) was born in Mulberry, Arkansas on March 16, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Billy John Adams; parents, Jim Kirby and Eula Cobb; and sister, Dottie Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Juneita Hand of Bakersfield, son, Robert Adams of Bakersfield, son, Mickey Adams of Rancho Cucamonga, daughter, Joan Couch of Bakersfield and son, Steven Adams of Mt. Mesa. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She passed away at home with her children at her side, August 25, 2007. In keeping with her wishes, a graveside service will be conducted by Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary on Thursday, August 30 at 10am at Greenlawn Cemetery, River Blvd. Lynn Klase, Elder with the Church of Christ, Mt. Mesa will officiate. Dollie's grandsons will serve as casket bearers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, from 2pm to 8pm at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon Street. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. We love you Mom.
