Born into the warmth of a cotton crop farm, Delight Darleen graced this world on November 6, 1937 to parents Arthur and Bernice Renfro. She embraced the values instilled by her farming roots - resilience, hard work, and unwavering love. Throughout her journey on this earth, she epitomized strength, grace, and boundless generosity.

Delight was the heart and soul of her family. As a devoted wife to Tommy, she cherished her husband and the life they built together. They raised their blended family of seven children, and had nine grandchildren, four of whom they raised as their own. After Tommy's passing, she also raised a very special great grandson, Colby. Her love extended to an additional 12 great grandchildren, and 13 step-grandchildren.

Beyond the roles of wife and mother, she exemplified determination and hard work as a local business owner. Yet, her greatest joy came from being "Grandma" to all who knew her. Whether shuttling her grandchildren to countless sporting events, or welcoming strangers into her heart with open arms, she radiated love and warmth. Delight lived a life defined by selflessness. She was always there for anyone in need, offering a listening ear, a comforting hug, or a helping hand without hesitation. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing her path.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Tommy, her parents Arthur and Bernice Renfro, sisters Lucille and June, and brother Buddy. She is survived by three children, Denise Turk and partner Mark, Jerry Sanders and Gary Sanders; five stepchildren Donna Martin, Sondra Sanchez, Susan Roberts, Dennis and Tommy Robins; five grandchildren Ryan Turk, Kevin Turk, Jason Turk, Jennifer Pierce and husband Rickey, Greg Sanders and 4 grandchildren who called her "Mom", Amber Sanders, Garrett Sanders, Grant Sanders and wife Amy and Amanda Hopkins and husband Broc; 13 great-grandchildren, Coleton Sanders, Colby Webb, Julian Villa, Monroe Hopkins, Mason Smith, Luke Villicano, Grayson Sanders, Grady Sanders, Easton Pierce, Lennon Pierce, Kaden Turk, Kasen Turk and Leighton Turk; and one soon-to-be great grandson Callahan Renfro Hopkins.

As we bid farewell to Delight, let us carry forward her legacy of love, generosity and kindness. Though she may have left this world sooner than we would have liked, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were touched by her remarkable presence.
