Debra Yvonne Lopez Estrada was born October 21, 1968 in Bakersfield, California. Debbie grew up and attended elementary schools in Bakersfield, earned her GED, and attended Cal State University Bakersfield. She loved education and going to school and helping others. She married Norberto Estrada in Bakersfield on October 8, 2008. They lived in Shafter and attended the Christian Fellowship Church in Shafter. Debbie is survived by her husband, Norberto Estrada of Shafter; sons Daniel Estrada, Steven Estrada; daughter, Jennifer Estrada; father Jerry Lopez and step-mother Juanita; brother, Gilbert Lopez; sister, Christina Lopez; grandchildren, Isaiah, Ismael and Liliana. She was preceded in death by son, Robert Estrada. Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 27 at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, 844 E. Lerdo Hwy, Shafter for Debra Yvonne Lopez Estrada, age 46, of Shafter who passed away May 9, 2015 in Shafter. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 28 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church, 601 California, Bakersfield. Interment will follow at Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin at 12:30pm. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27 from 5pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter.
