David Nevarez was born in Coalinga, CA on September 9, 1998, to parents Ramon and Leonor Nevarez. He grew up in Avenal and was always a bright student. David attended Christian Church services and was an active participant, his love for The Lord was obvious. His favorite sport was baseball, and he enjoyed hanging out with his friends. The family moved to Wasco when he David was 13, he was attending high school. On June 4, 2016 David was taken tragically, in a collision, when he was returning from a friend's graduation in Avenal. David is survived by his parents, Ramon and Leonor; his siblings, Manuel Reyes, Josie Nevarez and Brenda Meza; and his nephews and niece, Samuel, Alexander, Christopher and Aylin Juarez. A viewing and prayer service was held at Iglesia Apostoles Y Profeta Fuente De Jacob on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00pm. David was laid to rest at Wasco Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 9:00am.
